Terms of Service

1. The service

Career GPS provides AI-assisted career planning and informational guidance. It helps students understand their current career-development position, identify priorities, organize actions, and update a career plan as their situation changes. Parent Access provides a limited, high-level summary under the product's sharing and privacy rules.

2. Informational guidance, not a guarantee

Career GPS does not guarantee an internship, job offer, admission decision, visa, CPT, OPT, work authorization, immigration status, or any other career or legal outcome. Career, recruiting, immigration, and work-authorization rules can change and depend on individual circumstances. You are responsible for independently verifying important information with employers, schools, qualified advisers, government sources, or legal counsel as appropriate.

3. Accounts and user responsibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly update material account information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Student Career GPS data belongs to the student account and is not automatically available to a parent or sponsor.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are annual subscriptions that renew automatically at the price disclosed at purchase unless canceled before renewal. Applicable taxes may be added. You may cancel at any time through the available billing-management tools; cancellation stops future renewal but does not normally end access before the current paid period expires. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable taxes, billing-related customer service, and refunds for transactions processed through Paddle. Career GPS does not directly store your complete payment-card details.

5. Intellectual property

Career GPS, its software, design, branding, and original content are owned by BeyondPath Labs or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain rights in information you submit. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account and applicable access remain active.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reverse engineer protected portions of the service, use it to violate another person's rights, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use automated means that place an unreasonable burden on the service.

7. Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Career GPS. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect paid access.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Career GPS and BeyondPath Labs are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions and outcomes based on informational guidance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits statutory consumer rights.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these terms, unlawful activity, security threats, or nonpayment. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. Certain provisions, including intellectual property, payment obligations, and limitations of liability, survive termination where applicable.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The updated date will appear above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or account contact information.
